My Photos in London this week
Yay London, Yay Wotever World!
Three of my oldie-but-goodie photos were selected to be shown at an event this week,
Circus Orgasmuz. It’s an honor, and i wish i could attend.
When A Butch Dyke Dies
(Once again using my life as a canvas to make a point about what it’s like for butch dykes)
My BIG Media week
Well WhaddayaKnow? Plop a tiara on my head and call me “Miss Media Empire” — THREE TIMES this week I appeared on someone else’s intertube world.
On the neighborhood blog called South Slope News (with Faggotgirl).
On Adapting Spaces, who published a short article i wrote about apartment renovations.
And on Huffington Post, in a very unflattering photo of me walking in protest of gay bashing.
My Video at Gender Reel 2012
I’m happy to announce that my video “Gloucester City, My Town” will be shown at Gender Reel in Philadelphia this coming weekend.
https://vimeo.com/38520335
Please attend the festival if you can. The video is screnning on both Saturday and Sunday. On Sunday I am part of a workshop for “Filmmaking For The Grasroots Activist.”
Please come hear my passionately held, uninformed opinions during daylight hours. Might be fun. See you there!
Memoir – My Dykeumentary
This video is one of my favorites. I kind of have a crush on Barbara Jordan, and also, I am pleased with my editing. I just sent in a new video to Gender Reel, and I tried a few new things in that one.
